Over the winter months we travel the length and breadth of the country competing in local and national head races. Head races are rowings version of a 'Time Trial'. Each club holds one or two events a year with many other clubs competing to get the fastest time down stretch of river either of the day or within their age group and boat category. These of often longer than regatta races typically between 2000-5000m
