Adult Learn to Row
We have run regular learn to row courses since 2006. You must be at least 18 years old and there is no upper age limit! You need to be able to prove that you can swim and be in reasonable health. Note that if you have a health issue or disability, we still may be able to help, just make us aware on the form. Our coaches work closely with participants over the course to bring you up to speed with the basics, ensuring you are safe on the water and understand the basic rowing technique. The cost of the course is £100 for four sessions (two hours per session) and usually takes place on Fridays from 6 - 8pm and on Sundays from 2 - 4pm. Subject to Covid guidance, the course concludes with a race and an opportunity to showcase your skills with family and friends very welcome to come and support!
To register your interest in taking part, please fill in the form below and we will contact you with more details ASAP.
For under 18s, we have a slightly different approach as we need to ensure our coaches are able to cope with appropriate numbers to keep sessions safe and enjoyable throughout the season. If you would like to learn to row as part of the junior section of our club, please contact the junior coordinator here. Please note, we do not accept participants under the age of 13 years old.
