GB Rowing Team

The club has a long history of representation at GB level, especially in the junior team. Our most famous international is, of course, Olympic Champion Matthew Langridge who won Gold in the men's 8 in the 2016 Rio Olympics, Silver in Beijing and Bronze in London, which makes Matt the only GB Oarsman in history to have 'the full set'

Recent years have seen regular representation at the Junior World Championships, Coupe de la Jeunesse, Home Countries International Regatta and World Under-23 Championships. While our senior athletes have to move away from the club to train, we consider them very much part of the club and look forward to welcoming them back during their Christmas and summer breaks.
